Do you hold securities that have increased in value in recent years?
Did you know that when you donate them directly to the Canadian Radiological Foundation (CRF), you don’t have to pay capital gains tax and you are able to give the full market value (resale) of your contribution?
If you donate your shares directly to the CRF, the CRF receives a higher donation and you receive an official receipt showing a larger contribution. This means a considerable tax benefit for you and a larger donation for the CRF!
Your gift will result in a non-refundable tax credit that will reduce your income taxes. You can use it in the year of your gift or carry it forward for up to five additional years.
When you make a gift of securities to the CRF, you put stock in knowing you are investing in Canadian healthcare to drive innovation in imaging, intervention, informatics and artificial intelligence education and research.
